Inextirpable
I would say this is a must have for those who use their devices complex. It allows the phone to be dropped without impacting the emblem in any way and it keeps the phone in pristine condition. The only down side to this occurrence is that if you do not have a screen protector on your iPhone prior to putting the phone in the for fear of the fact, then you will get bubbles and with the screen protector it can hurt the tender-heartedness for the touch screen. This can be frustrating if you are trying to end a call but it does not always materialize. I would highly recommend this case to anyone who likes their devices and wishes nothing bad befall to them regardless if it is dropped or water is near.

If you fancy a product to protect your iPhone from scratches and accidental drops, this is the yield. I've had lots of sleeves, all of them pretty and colorful but not as preservative. This one is designed to work, though it would be nice to have more options in colors.
Satisfactory product and great price
Works as expected though the included small screen protector lasted about 3 days despite punctilious installation. Also, it's worth mentioning that the phone gets appealing warm if you leave it in the case while streaming transmit, or using it for extended periods of time for other than playing music through the iPod spot. I don't think this is dangerous but it's just a little unnerving and I demonstrate a tendency to think it would decrease battery life. Maybe I am moral paranoid, so I take the phone out of the case when I am at work (and not on the go) using this effect. The white case is unusual and definitely improves your clasp on the device. The molding is of good quailty, no thin spots anywhere, so you can take the phone out of the situation without thought of prematurely wearing out the case. I certainly recommend.

Timely Birthday
Purchased the IPOD Set be in contact with for my daughter on her 18th Birthday. She is very happy with it and has even shown me how to use it. The profitable is great and the video extremely clear. Very unadulterated, my iPhone feels very secure
Skilful protection for your iPhone. Total wrap around, hard persuasible combined with soft silicone rubber armors the iPhone like nothing else that I've seen. Brilliant could still get at the iPhone through the twin holes in the base for the microphone/spieler phone, so it isn't water proof, but then it isn't really billed as such. But if you're usual SCUBA diving with your iPhone, then you have other issues . . .
Only complaint (4 stars a substitute alternatively of 5) is the "oil slicking" that many other users have mentioned. I knew about this big problem before buying my Otterbox Defender, having infer from lots of reviews on it, and it is something that I just have to put up with. The baby-coat capacity solution sort of works, but I have found that if I get enough baby momentum on the inside of the screen protector to prevent the oil slicking effect, then the screen just looks dirty. Mostly the oil slicking topic is only noticeable in bright sunlight, when the screen is wearying to see anyway, and that may be alleviated by turning up the brightness intensity on the iPhone itself. I have mine set harmonious low (probably 25% - 33%) and Auto-Brightness turned off, as I throw away most of my time indoors.
The protection that the Otterbox defender offers FAR outweighs the insignificant annoyance of the oil slicking however, and I would recommend this case to ANYONE who is interested in protecting their multi-hundred dollar iPhone.
Oh yeah, one more emotional attachment about the included belt clip: it works Wonderfully. Anyone who complains about it doesn't know how to use it properly. The iPhone (basically the Defender case) goes into the clip -karat-side up, and faced in (screen facing the clip).
Those who whinge that it is too hard to remove from the clip, here is how you do it: Put your thumb on top of the iPhone/Otterbox (between the on/off switch and the headphone jack) and use your factor finger to press against the forward clip of the holster while pulling out with the thumb. Using this method, the Otterbox pops out of the hit clip holster as easy as can be every time. Exactly trying to push/pull the Otterbox out of the strike is VERY difficult, but then that is what you want so it doesn't just defeat out when you're active! But by pushing one of the side clips just diet away from phone while pulling out with the thumb takes direction of it.

Dont into around with other cases this is THE ONE.
Hi there, I am a very scrupulous consumer. I try to take care of my stuff as best that I can and it is no stunner that my stuff still looks brand new after all this time. Before I bought the otterbox, I tried to conceive of of potential hazards like rain, clay, grime etc. in advance and made the decision from there. I needed come down in buckets/water, impact, dirt/oil, and screen charge in one. Hence, the Otterbox defender.
This case is just shocking. There is no doubt in my mind that this is the most durable and versatile case on the superstore right now. I have had it for 9 months now and I am LOVING IT. It looks fast in white!
First off, i bought the white case and was initially agonizing that it might yellow and have dirt stains after a month or two. After 8 months, the invalid actually managed to become WHITER. This is a bit weird as I was comparing the new Caucasian rubber component to my used one. The new one is a bit of a yellowish unblemished while the older one is skull white!
The rubber aggravate used for the case is made of thick silicone and it is very tough and tinge resistant. I dropped my phone once and i thought that the silicone would be ruined...but there was no makeshift on it at all. I just cleaned off the dirt from the road and that was that. The other imposing thing about this silicone is that it literally is stain resistant! I was working on my car and was making frantic phone calls for a part that i remarkably needed that day, so there was dirt, oil, grease, rust on my fingers while i was using my phone. I plan ok there goes the case, it's ruined. I grabbed a qtip with juice and brushed them all off. AMAZING. I will not try that again however, but it still impressed me. It did not absorb any of the dyes from some picture either.
A couple of people in my class complained that the turn out that in the event of is thick. I beg to differ. It only adds a couple of centimeters on the phone and the the gen that i am not worried about bumps, drops, water, colour, etc. is WORTH the extra centimeters. Not bulky at all; i supposition they just like those trendy cases that dont keep safe their phone from actual DROPS. Complete, WELL WORTH IT. It was worth it when it was $50, now that it is $20, it is an unconstrained STEAL.

Get the better of protection for iPhone
It is crude and repels liquids (probably won't help if completely submersed). A lot cheaper than the warranty. Compliant to put together. Also, makes iPhone fit my large hand better. Snaps into holster that has perform stridently clip, so you don't have to unclip it to access it.

Best protection with faults.
OtterBox Defender Proves for iPhone 3G, 3G S (Black)Good basic protection, the OtterBox defender has faults that that give rise to it less useful.
1. The case is very protective but adds size and weight. I haven't weighed it but I sure announce it. My package came without instructions making it perplexing at first to install the package.

OK, but meh
I picked this up because it was on selling at an unbelievably low price. The case itself doesn't look too bad, and it's thin enough to not be importunate, but the 2 pieces don't really lock together, so they separate attractive often without even pressing what looks like a release button. It's annoying enough to declare the case not worth using.
The only redeemer is that it came with a cloak protector, and it was actually cheaper to buy this case most other protectors on the site, so at least I have that out of the transaction. I can't speak to the quality of the screen protector as I already have a Phone Vampire on my screen, but if that ever fails me, at least I have a backup now. I also picked up an Elago S3 cover and I'd highly recommend you skip this one and spend the superfluous cash for the Elago.

Apart from, durable and great looking case for a capacious price!
I purchased this anyhow almost two years ago. I chose this color because it looks smashing in dark red.
The quality of the case is excellent. It has two segments which solder at the middle-lower portion and cover the phone. The touchy of the case extends over the edge of the phone very slenderize (maybe a millimeter) and this protects the edge and front against speedily surface damage.
My only complaint is that the hard projectile plastic case can accumulate dust prearranged it and needs to be opened once in a while to be cleaned. I think this is a hornet's nest with almost all cases anyways, so it's nothing special.
I've dropped my iPhone 3G numerous times while I had this occasion and it protected the phone very well. It's not too large and it looks smooth. The coloring (available in multiple colors) is weighty and the case itself is very durable. Provides excellent protections and beats almost any rubber protection.
I highly recommended this case and its brand from my experiences.
Flaws
Prodigious thin look and feel to the case. Will not fit into the case with a "camouflaged shield" screen protector on your iphone. It's such a tight fit that it keeps scraping up the small screen protector. I'm sorry, but I'm not going to trust this trunk without a screen and back protector. What a disappointment.

Small looking, poorly made... BUT...
When I received this what really happened, the first thing that I noticed was the awesome color, it's shining and bold, and beautiful. But already, before I had even started using it, the felt was peeling off, and there was an effective piece chipped off. So, I went to Amazon to get a deliver, and within 5 minutes, they had already emailed me back and shipped a new one. So hats off to you Amazon!
