My LifeDrive cut on me, so I got a Palm TX as a replacement. The Palm TX is a chaste PDA, and perhaps for someone who has never seen a LifeDrive, it would be faultless. But after that he was the LifeDrive with 4 GB solid indicate, the Palm TX totally not enough contest. The wifi has worked mostly first-class, but it has the purpose of reminiscence in some networks. The lean up against shroud works eager, and the applications are all very genuine, no more than like any other Palm output. This is very thin and skinny, and I over it's almost in his bag. Works with the Bluetooth keyboard, so it's friendly to have a big bag of facile workstations. I like it, offers a afield order of possibilities, but only with the functionality of the LifeDrive, so it's exceptionally nothing for me.

But product
This output does everything I need and want it to do.
The only problem I had, and it was a Lilliputian one, was that it did not come with the case as it was listed. I did contact the vendor, and was told that the depiction was out of date, and they would not send a case, or screen saver.
Again, a stinting problem, but if its a big deal to you, order somewhere else...

PDA's do what Smartphones don't
When the brush screen went out on my old Palm Tungsten T5, I tried to get by with lawful the apps on my cell phone. They just do not have the suavit I'm used to with a PDA. This rebuilt unit is the answer for me.

PAF (deprecating ancestral file) for palm
At first it was demanding to figure how to put data on the Palm Pilot (maybe because of Vista operating system). Once figured it is good it. There are some good tips on the internet (Google "PAF for Palm OS", and look at the Adobe info). When exporting evidence you will have to make several data bases if you have upwards of 10's of thousands of names. Also you will have to lay your PAF each time you export in a different name so that you can have different figures bases (so that one won't replace the other) on your pilot. Also you may have to hunt for the export. It won't always automatically come forth in the (mine never did) install tool box on your laptop or desktop. Favourable history and genealogy searching! (PS The icon will look like a secondary palm pilot with an arrow or something possibly in your personal documents in your energetically drive folder.)

As A-OK as can be expected, I suppose
Palm's computers last a lot longer than their peripherals, that's for unavoidable. I tend to have to buy one of these every 6-8 months, but I use it heavily. Eximious as long as it lasts, though it can't hold up to IR interference. It's always the radical side of the keyboard that starts to fail, and for the first time in about eight keyboards, the pin strike down out of my last one.

Ripsnorting excepting Keyboard
The Palm 3169WW Worldwide Wireless Keyboard is excellent. Not only is it very compact and untaxing weight, but I need to write a lot of notes, so having the keyboard is high-priced to make the most of my time. Even though the keyboard AA batteries last a extensive time, the PDA battery will be used faster because the IR signal will be in use while using the keyboard. All in all a preposterous product with a terrific price that cannot be denied. I would plug this product.
manageable Palm keyboard
The keyboard works well. The combined superiority of the keyboard and my Palm Tungsten is much less than that of a netbook, a feature that was very well-connected to me.
Expands expediency of PDA
I bought this matter new hoping it would it would free up a lot of desk space when all I needed was a plain platform to type notes into. I'd read many reviews and was ready with a downloaded driver. When the keyboard arrived I installed the downloaded driver on my symbol and was able to work instantly. It works consequential and many menu commands are placed right on the keyboard for easygoing access. My only complaint would be the location of the "?" key, which is a key that deserves tickety-boo placement as it is used often. Instead Palm jettisoned it way off to the side to recompense for way for arrow keys that do seem to get a lot of use with this application. I'm really opportune with my purchase and think it is something anyone with a PDA should look into, as it is a good plain way to have typing convenience without wires and a lot of desk duration. BTW, I'm someone who's hands tend to cramp really peaceful using a normal mouse, yet this keyboard hasn't inclined me any trouble to speak of yet.

Not too considerable
I got off to a irksome start with this product. It appeared that something inside was dislodged or out of situate, floating inside. Occasionally over the next day, I found the device liable to reset itself and give me tips once restarted. Dumb. I in reality liked the form factor and design, and I am an well-versed pda user. I sent out for an exchange so we will see how the next one fares. I unbiased want a reliable device, anything more than that will make it a table of symbols to me just like my old RX3715 and Jornada. So two stars for this commodity. I had just returned my other one for being defective, and here I am on a totally disparate site ordering a totally different signet, and they were both a bit sickly. Trouble started when the box was opened and the battery was installed. The interview lit up momentarily, and after that the device would not power up. I figured it needed charging and plugged it in. But even principled turning the device in my hand would make the charging undo periodically. It seemed as though the housing was putting too much pressure on the course connections inside.

Audio could be improved HP IPaQ
It is solely not designed to be loud enough but is very intuitive on its functionality. In a placid room, I had to set the volume control to the maximum up to date on to hear audio books. I tried all of the internal adjustments, several remarkable audio book files, and types of headphones. Nothing would interpret the problem. As I use the unit for an MP3 player when traveling on airplanes, the low audio yield was not sufficient to be heard over the noise of the engines (and settle mates). I returned the unit to Amazon.com without formidableness - full marks to Amazon. I will nurse my rx1955 along until HP (or whoever) manages to retail a unit that will meet my needs. I have been using the latest one for almost 22 months and am quite satisfied with it. Unfortunately, one of the multi-usefulness buttons no longer works reliably. I purchased the iPAQ 111 Lift PC as a replacement - newer operating system, more memory, faster processor, WiFi, and buttons that employment. The basis features of the units (with the exception of Bluetooth) are comparable. Unfortunately, the audio generate volume was very disappointing.

End of the row...Maybe?
Unhappily, this iPaq PDA will probably be the end of the line for "stand-alone" PDAs along with it's bigger sibling the iPaq 211. I still love mine and use it many times a day as my inessential brain.
I owned the larger & heavier iPaq 211 but sold it on eBay so I could buy this smaller/lighter sibling. The Windows Quick 6 classic runs flawlessly with very few soft resets. The WM performer is great for music as well as videos. The videos at 320x240 ad lib w/o hiccups.
The WM office (excel, word, powerpoint) occupation as expected. No complaints!
The email program sets up unquestionably and syncs with Outlook effortlessly. I have all (5) email accounts sending & receiving without problems.
The guard is bright, even outdoors and the audio is clear & chip w/o headphones.
The 802.11b/g Wi-Fi connects quickly and firmly every time.
My only negative cooment might be the power consumption drains the battery melodic quick...needs charge every night.
Trash!!!!
I Have an aversion to THIS PDA. HATE HATE.... it stops working all the all at once and I don't even use it that much. It stopped working 3 months after I got it and I had not even used it. Now I haven't tolerant of it since May and it will not turn on and it will not charge... DO NOT Waste your ready money on this product!!!!!

Never Received It
I never received the battery I ordered. I have not heard from anyone as to why not... The vendor or Amazon. It has been over a month.
works well
Had to buy this as my primary battery died within a few weeks of buying the palm 755p. I have been using this shift battery for nearly 2 and 1/2 years and the battery regularly lasts several days before it needs recharging.

Eventually!
I'm so happy Palm finally has a battery available for the 755p. I would have bought one when I got my Treo, but neither Palm nor Sprint had them convenient (this was back in June of 2007). I don't trust most 3rd party batteries, and was propitious to see that Amazon had this one at a good price! I've been using this one for several months now, with no complaints.
If I'm using my Treo a lot, traveling, etc., it is in reality handy to have a spare battery that I can pop in, rather than finding an egress and waiting for it to charge.

Warm to have a spare
Not much to say, its a reservoir battery. Decent price, good portrayal, and nice to have a spare battery in my bag for those long flights or talk call days.
It works particularly well with the Palm Treo cradle, since the cradle has a panel in the back that can do battle with a spare battery at the same time it charges the Treo.

This is a capacious information source for my Palm TX

I recommend it to anyone wanting to learn more about their Palm instrument and how to get better use out of your investment.
